Q: How can physical therapy alleviate lower back pain?
A: Most people assume if they have lower back pain it can only be treated with surgery. However, in more than 80 percent of cases, physical therapy is all that is needed to alleviate back pain.

Our physical therapists use myofascial release, dry needling and core strengthening techniques that are proven to help. We teach patients how to engage the right muscles around the spine that will help them regain function, decrease pain and prevent injury.

A: We offer an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to patients’ overall wellness. Our physical therapists team up with health coaches, massage therapists and athletic trainers to treat the person as a whole.
