Ever-growing and evolving, Brunswick KiDDS has welcomed Dr. Christi Walsh to its pediatric dentistry practice.

“We conducted a nine-month search and had over 60 candidates from all over the country and found Dr. Christi to be the perfect fit for our practice,” says Brunswick KiDDS founder Dr. Milton Ntragatakis.

“She is extremely conscientious and very caring, just like Dr. Brittany Heffernan. Combining her skills with the rest of our staff will elevate us to another level.”

“My mission has always been not to grow bigger, but better,” he says. “Adding Dr. Christi to the staff will make us all better, as we are surrounded by an amazing clinical team. Adding a third dentist will also allow us to accommodate more patient requests and continue to offer same-day appointments.”

A pediatric dentist in New York City, Dr. Christi is relocating to Northeast Ohio and getting married to a Strongsville native this summer.

“I am excited to join Brunswick KiDDS because of the positive and collaborative environment here,” says Dr. Christi. “The supportive teamwork and modern treatment options offer families a remarkable approach to improving oral health.”

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Dr. Christi received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Upon completion of dental school, she moved to New York City to complete a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. Afterward, she returned to Ohio where she worked as a general dentist at a school community health center.

“Practicing at a local health center opened my eyes to the extensive number of children in need of care right in my own backyard and, ultimately, lead me to pursue pediatric dentistry,” comments Dr. Christi, who completed a pediatric dental residency in NYC for two additional years of advanced dental training as chief resident.

“Ever since I volunteered abroad at an orphanage in Peru, I have always had a passion for health and education,” says Dr. Christi, who enjoys traveling and hiking when not practicing dentistry.

In addition to adding staff, Brunswick KiDDS has added square footage to its office. Founded in 2010, the practice added an orthodontic department in 2016, doubling its space in the existing location. Last year the Cornerstone Conference Center was added as a place for community meetings and dental training, adjacent to the office.

The spacious, light-filled conference room, which has seating for up to 35 people, hosts girl scout and boy scout meetings, continuing education classes for dentists, study clubs and other group activities.

“Our vision for Brunswick KiDDS is to be the best ‘lighthouse’ for pediatric dentistry in our community, before it spreads like a million stars in other locations. We want to create something in Brunswick that people will see from far away because it is different, comprehensive and excellent.”

Brunswick KiDDS is located at 1824 Pearl Road. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office takes most major insurances. To make an appointment, call 330-220-6363 or visit BrunswickKIDDS.com for more information. Inquire about a complimentary orthodontics consultation for your child or teen.
