Columbia Woodlands is a natural choice for weddings. In the spring, the 400-acre wedding venue in Northeast Ohio comes alive, blossoming on the bride-to-be’s big day as if sprung from her secret Pinterest wedding board.

Instagram-worthy woodlands in Dover deliver rustic elegance and set the stage for a destination wedding within reach.

Columbia Woodlands is perfect for big weddings and intimate weddings, black tuxes and blue jeans, and every bride-to-be because her Woodlands Wedding always reflects her personal style.

And as her wedding unfolds from pin to plan, an experienced wedding coordinator is there to assist her from the first save-the-date card sent out to the last chair set up.

“From day one, we handle the catering, the linens, the setup and the takedown,” says Columbia Woodlands Wedding and Event Specialist Britney Erhard. “The bride can call me any time of day, whenever she’s worried or stressed or has a question.”

A Woodlands wedding is all-inclusive and stress-free.

Columbia Woodlands is perfect for big weddings and intimate weddings, black tuxes and blue jeans, and every bride-to-be because her Woodlands wedding always reflects her personal style.

“When arriving on Friday, everything is in place. The only thing left to do is place the centerpieces,” says Columbia Woodlands Owner Lois Mason. “The hardest decision a couple has to make is which cabin or glamping tent to place their families and loved ones during the stay.”

Columbia Woodlands has four luxury cabins and four glamping tents.

“The Spring House is always decorated in season and weddings are all-inclusive, so we take care of everything—the big things, like our luxury cabins and tents, and the small things, like easels, that tend to get overlooked,” Britney says.

Woodlands weddings are also exclusive. The entire grounds, including three chalets and an abundance of other amenities—fishing poles and paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, and on and on—are reserved exclusively for the wedding party and invited guests.

For a day to remember, Columbia Woodlands is a natural choice.

The ceremony takes place outdoors, next to the Spring House, near a rippling spring. The venue can accommodate 150-175 people. The night before the ceremony and the night after the reception, there’s room for the bride and groom as well as 36 guests at the luxury cabins and glamping tents.

“The cabins and tents are immaculate. They are super clean and everything is lush and fluffy, the linens and the beds are of the highest quality,” says Columbia Woodlands Manager Miranda Fortney. “We take care of everything. There’s shampoo, and toothpaste, and deodorant—anything that you may have forgotten, we have it. And in the rare case we don’t have it, we’ll do everything we can to get it.”

Each cabin has a magic all its own.

Most couples opt to stay in Rising Sun their first night as a married couple. It’s the original cabin and the perfect size for newlyweds. A loft overlooks a cozy living room with an old-fashioned wood-burning stove, and it’s the only cabin where the master bedroom opens directly onto the hot tub.

Rock Path is a five-bedroom cabin with a six-person hot tub, foosball table and poker table, perfect for groomsmen.

Glamping is an experience all its own.

“The first thing you see when you walk into the authentic canvas Native American tent is the extremely posh and luxurious bed and a crystal chandelier,” Miranda says. “In the bathroom, the ceiling is transparent, so that you can see the trees and birds.”

There’s something for everyone at Columbia Woodlands, and it’s a place every bride can make her own. Columbia Woodlands is a natural choice.
