Honesty and transparency—along with a higher level of professionalism than people are accustomed to in this industry—are the biggest reasons for Pristine Clean’s growth trajectory.

Racking up the biggest one-day sales volume in its 10-year history, the phones at Pristine Clean rang off the hook on an otherwise unremarkable Friday in mid-May. Even owners Ken Wilson and Anthony Alberino were manning the lines to keep up. After the final call of the day, they had booked almost a week’s worth of jobs.

“Seriously, I ate lunch around 5:30 p.m.,” Ken says, laughing. “The good news is, we are in excellent shape to handle the influx. We have continually bolstered our infrastructure to keep up with the rising demand for our premium house washing, roof cleaning, deck washing and concrete clean and seal services.”

Much of that infrastructure lies in the new headquarters the company moved into recently that are double the size of its previous location. And adding new trucks and equipment helps as well.

But Ken says the most important resource for them is their technicians.

“We treat power washing as an honorable profession and only hire staff members we feel will stick with us for their career,” he says.

“Much is invested in each staff member, from certification to ongoing training and education.”

The same genuine attitude applies to customers, too.

“Honesty and transparency—along with a higher level of professionalism than people are accustomed to in this industry—are the biggest reasons for our growth trajectory,” says Anthony.

It’s All About Trust

The gentlemen say that lifting the standards for what Clevelanders expect from a power washing company is important to them.

“Every step of our relationship with customers—from the first phone call to the job and follow-up call—we seek to educate them about the process,” says Ken. “It’s just a matter of respect.”

For Susan Parente, who had the concrete on her driveway, patio and walkway cleaned and sealed, the professional communication was as important as the low price in her decision to go with Pristine.

“We received a quote almost immediately and it was considerably lower than the other company,” she says. “I also received a call and email reminder a couple days before they were scheduled to come. Got a call the morning they were scheduled to say when they would arrive. It looks great!”

Honest to Goodness Pricing
“We offer our best price to every customer right up front, period,” says Anthony.

“It’s a matter of ethics. With us, what you see is what you get every time—a professional service priced honestly. It is something we are proud of.”

With the chilly and uncooperative springtime, Ken reports most people put off taking a good look at their home’s exterior, and that the power washing season is about a month behind what it usually is.

“Whether it’s a graduation party, Father’s Day or a Fourth of July celebration, we’ll return your home to its absolute best in terms of curb appeal this summer,” he says.
