Gleam with envy

“Heading into fall, we have the best deals of the year on concrete power washing,” notes Pristine Clean's Ken Wilson.

Following an unwavering progression of excellence, Anthony Alberino and Ken Wilson have taken Pristine Clean from two guys, a ladder and a pickup truck in 2008 to one of the largest power washing companies in Ohio today, with more than 10,000 clients, a fleet of trucks and a team of highly trained experts that grows by the day.

“We’ve created a culture that delivers on offering the best customer experience possible, from that first phone call to the day of service and follow-up call to make sure the job we did exceeded the client’s expectations,” says Ken.

Putting the Customer First
“Just as in any industry, opportunities present themselves to cut corners and make more money,” he says. “That’s just never been part of our business model. We consider ourselves leaders within the industry and would never send technicians to a home who are not extensively trained, or use a product that’s less than the highest quality.”

He mentions, as an example, the use of siloxane sealers for concrete.

“Some local companies use less expensive sealers, which don’t last as long. We only use siloxane, which is specifically made for aggregate driveways. Because it produces the best result, we won’t use anything else,” he says.

He also mentions the satisfaction they feel knowing that when a friendly, uniformed Pristine Clean technician drives up in a beautifully branded box truck, customers know they are getting an expert.

The company is certified in house, roof and flat surface washing, and gained membership in the Power Washers of North America, PWNA, so they could be confident in their service offering.

A Kinder, Gentler Path to Deep Clean
“Many companies use high-pressure washing, which can actually damage siding and strip it of its protective UV coating,” says Ken. “With extensive industry research and proven results to back us up, we only soft-wash homes. It is gentler and more effective than traditional power washing.”

Pristine Clean’s three-step process includes:

  1. A gutter wash with an aluminum brightener to help remove gutter staining.
  2. A gentle pressure wash of the house with a biodegradable cleanser and a mildewcide that eliminates organic growth.
  3. A finish coating of gloss-enhanced surface protectant.

“Step three is what really separates us from our competitors,” says Ken. “The final coat contains a surfactant that makes the house shine.”

Time to Make Your Concrete Gleam
“Heading into fall, we have the best deals of the year on concrete power washing,” notes Ken. “Once we’ve washed your home, and it’s gleaming in the sunlight, the job isn’t done until we’ve cleaned and sealed your driveway as well.”

And the job isn’t completed until they receive feedback from the customer in the form of a survey.

“We consider every step of the process important,” says Anthony. “As a true grassroots organization, we are two local boys who have grown up over the past decade in this industry and don’t take our success lightly.”

To that end, he says caring for their employees to make sure they stay long-term is standard operating procedure.

“Unlike other power washing businesses in the area, we provide year-round work for our employees with benefits so they can raise a family,” says Anthony. “Not only does this help local workers, it also provides a continuity of service for customers as well.”
