Does your “quarantine 15” weight gain have you rethinking your wardrobe (stretchy), avoiding mirrors, cameras and public places? Although people are starting to venture out again, a crowded gym with shared equipment does not sound like an ideal option.

That’s why the timing couldn’t be better for the grand opening of the Fitness Together personal training studio in Highland Heights. Unlike the average gym, the concept here is one-to-one personal training in private exercise suites that are thoroughly sanitized between sessions. Each client follows a program that is uniquely customized to his or her needs.

“We thought Highland Heights was the perfect-fit community for us,” says Sean Sullivan, who has operated a successful location in Brecksville the past 12 years and has also opened studios in Bay Village and Concord. “This solidifies our presence in the Cleveland market. There aren’t other studios in this area that offer what we offer.”

Engineered for Success
“Although we specialize in an elite level of training, our customer service is always personable and genuine,” says Sean, who is not only the owner, but is also a trainer. Joining him on the team will be Brooke Kozlowski and Rachel Pekarski, who are regional directors with the company. “No matter who you train with, everybody knows your name here. And clients are greeted at the door with a smile from their trainer who will also check their temperature.”

Each of the plush training suites is outfitted with the latest equipment, from cardio machines to suspension bands, medicine and stability balls, TRX, battle ropes and weights.

Sean says their clients range from students to seniors, busy moms and dads to professional athletes.

“We help folks of any age, and any ability achieve their goals, whether it’s weight loss, building muscle, or boosting flexibility, balance or endurance,” he says. “Everything we do is science-based and proven to produce results. We don’t believe in short-term gimmicks.”

Knowledge is power at Fitness Together. During your initial consultation, your fitness level will be assessed and goals discussed. And then as your training progresses, your numbers are re-evaluated along the way.

“Motivation, accountability and results are what separate us from other places,” says Sean. “Once people see the difference one-on-one training makes in their lives, they enjoy sticking with us. And since they may see a variety of our trainers, it’s always something new, challenging and fun.”

Nutrition Coaching
To maximize clients’ results and complement the personal training, the studio also offers Nutrition Together. This six-week nutritional coaching program is overseen by a registered dietician.

“The goal is to encourage people to eat smarter and get rid of unhealthy eating behaviors,” Sean says.

Based on food journaling, clients say the program is eye-opening, not only creating a real picture of what and how much they are eating, but also discovering the motivation behind their eating.
