It's pedicure season at Cory's Hair Studio & Day Spa

It’s time to relax and soak up the sun. At Cory’s Hair Studio & Day Spa, that can mean only one thing: It is pedicure season.

“Our salon and spa is back open and we are thrilled to be able to serve all our clients again,” says salon owner Corinne Calabro. “We are using three of our pedicure chairs to allow for social distancing, but other than that it is business as usual.”

“We have always followed strict sanitation procedures, so we already are in compliance with new regulations,” she adds. “We always have taken extra precautions, such as using a new file for each client. After the service, we either throw the file and buffer out or give them to the client to take home.”

The salon also welcomed back Nickole Nicolosi, a nail technician who worked at Cory’s 20 years ago and is now back doing nails.

One of the few salons in town open seven days a week, Cory’s has been able to accommodate clients looking for facials, massages, waxing, body wraps and hair care.

“Just last week we had 21 new clients,” says Corinne. “It has been nice meeting new clients and seeing our loyal, long-time customers again.”
