These brands stand for a cause.

Q: Do you carry any products from companies that use sustainable practices or give back to philanthropic causes? I’d love to buy shoe brands that stand for causes I believe in.

A: Lucky Shoes’ local fashion buyers love to find brands that support nonprofits or believe in sustainability, so we carry dozens of thoughtful brands with a conscience.

One of those lines is Able, a handbag and accessories lifestyle brand that’s focused on ending generational poverty by providing economic opportunity for women.

Able has fashion-forward handbags loaded with fine details, and offers its limited edition “She’s Worth More” bracelet. All proceeds from the sales of this bracelet help fund companies raising wages for women.

Lucky Shoes is also proud to partner with The Vera Bradley Foundation and their fight to end breast cancer. Each year 10% of the sales of the Foundation pattern, the Butterfly Flutter, go toward finding a cure. To date, Vera Bradley has raised over $10 million for this cause.

Brighton
, another popular brand at Lucky Shoes, is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month as well, with its trend-setting Power of Pink collection. Brighton donates $5 from each Power of Pink bracelet to nonprofits that help fund breast cancer awareness.

Another of our favorite brands at Lucky Shoes is New Balance, which recently pledged $7 million to fund and establish the New Balance Foundation Obesity Prevention Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. Its recent philanthropic support will enable NB to collaborate with the pediatrics department and continue childhood obesity research while working with communities and schools.

Keen is a great casual brand, but their commitment to a better world is anything but casual. Since 2003, the brand has supported grassroots nonprofit partners through grants, board service and donations. Not only is Keen high-quality footwear, but the brand also aims to exceed high levels of social and environmental standards.

But we’re most proud of our family of Lucky Shoes employees who have provided support and in-kind donations to more than 100 organizations each year, including local schools and nonprofits.

We’re proud to be family owned with strong community pride and look forward to seeing you soon.
