Stacy Mantell is the epitome of what it means to be a busy working mom. At 35, she’s juggling a successful sales career, long hours and travel, with kiddos who are five and three years old.

Since starting at MaxStrength Fitness training studio a year ago, she says the transformation to her fitness level and muscle tone, along with increased energy and sounder sleep, have made a big difference in how well she handles her hectic daily schedule.

“Every aspect of my life has improved,” says Stacy, who was a competitive athlete growing up, playing soccer, softball and running track. “There is such an intensity to these workouts, which take place on a series of precision computerized exercise machines. They’re like nothing I’ve ever done. In the past, I had gone to gyms and felt like I was just going through the motions, always using the same machines and not really seeing any results. My knees used to hurt from running on the treadmill so much. But with MaxStrength, there’s no pain.”

She says one of the reasons the trainers are so effective is that they safely push her far outside of her comfort zone.

“I respect the proven science that these workouts are based on,” she says, referencing the unique approach of spacing out the 20-minute workouts to just twice a week to allow optimal time for adaptive change to take place and muscles to rebuild.

Totally Flexible and Accommodating
Stacy is on the road a good bit for work, but that doesn’t stop her from scheduling her workouts.

“The people at the front desk get to know you personally, just like the trainers,” she says. “It’s a family-run business and, after a while, everyone starts to feel like family. They go out of their way to find whatever time I need on the schedule. And I appreciate that.”

Another perk is that since the workouts are not sweat producing (studio temps are pleasantly set in the 60s), she can simply pop in on her lunch hour and not worry about needing to shower afterward.

Like Before the Pregnancies...Only Better
Jeff Tomaszewski, founder of MaxStrength, says Stacy is the perfect example of a client who didn’t necessarily need to lose weight but instead wanted to redistribute the ratio of fat to muscle.

“After having two children, she wasn’t happy with how her body looked, so we created a plan to drop body fat, and tone and add muscle,” he says. “Another one of her goals was to increase her energy to keep up with those super active kids. And now she’s full of energy. Like Stacy, convenience and the adaptability to fit within a person’s lifestyle are big factors why our clients stay with us for so long.”

This month, when so many people are blindly making resolutions to get healthier, why not put yourself in the hands of professional trainers and a program that works?
