Sure, you love the idea of turning the hands of time back a few hours and reclaiming the face that garnered more than a glance or two in your 20s and 30s, but with family, work and other life happenings demanding most of your day, finding the time to squeeze in a little Botox or filler can get lost in the shuffle.
With the launch of Skin Care Solutions’ new express location in Medina, just above the hustle and bustle of the wildly popular VCS Salon & Spa, you can pop in for aesthetic services, courtesy of the seasoned medical team that includes Medina native Dana Bonezzi, MD, Debra Fast, DO, Kathleen Fearon, DO, and Theresa Phillips, RN, and be on your way in a flash.
The funky second-level suite boasts a loft-like vibe with open ceilings and a glam décor. Part swank and part serene, the feel is decidedly modern, sans pretense.
“This is our third location, but we’ve modified the services to include those highest in demand,” Dr. Bonezzi notes. “The biggest advantage is that here there is no waiting. You can even schedule hair and nail services downstairs at VCS and then pop up for a little Botox when you’re done.”
Skin Care Solutions’ express suite exclusively features Botox, fillers and CoolSculpting. You can walk right in for services, or schedule an appointment if it suits.
“We pride ourselves on having eliminated the wait time,” Dr. Bonezzi smiles.
Although the services offered at the new Skin Care Solutions location have been refined, it’s important to note the highest levels of skill, artistry and professionalism are in full force.
“We’ve injected tens of thousands of people,” Dr. Bonezzi reveals.
“When it comes to injecting dermal fillers that produce a natural result, we’re among the most experienced in Northern Ohio. We are master injectors, which means we’ve undergone, and continue to undergo, extensive training in the application of cosmetic fillers and cosmetic neurotoxins. We didn’t just fit a weekend seminar into our busy schedules; we’ve deeply invested in learning a particular set of skills that few others possess. We’ve had advanced training and know how to expertly utilize advanced techniques. It makes a huge difference in the end results.”
Dr. Bonezzi reports the liquid facelift is among their most popular services, and it’s available at the chic new Medina location. Using a combination of fillers and Botox, the medical team can turn back the hands of time without the need for surgery.
“We do five to eight a week,” she confirms. “Our liquid facelift produces a superior result, so there’s no need to go under the knife. We stand firmly by the guideline that only a doctor or nurse can be an injector. It makes a big difference in the quality of the result.”
Injectible filler options include Juvederm, Radiesse and Voluma. The reason the team includes so many different fillers on the service menu, she points out, is because each product functions differently.
Also available is CoolSculpting, a perfect alternative to liposuction, which can easily be performed in the Skin Care Solutions’ express suite during a lunch hour. Essentially, Dr. Bonezzi says, fat cells are frozen during treatment and they die. The fat breaks down over time and is eliminated naturally. Your complete CoolSculpting transformation will take an average of six to 12 weeks.
Theresa Philips, RN, a 20-year veteran who rounds out the pro-level team, is at the Medina location on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for walk-ins. If you prefer to see one of the doctors, an appointment is recommended.
“We specialize in the natural look,” Theresa says. “Our team is above the bar compared to others out there, and we are the only place in Medina to offer CoolSculpting.”
Prior to any service, Dr. Bonezzi notes, a customized consultation takes place. After you’ve reviewed your options, you can move forward with the services of your choice, or, depending on your budget, enjoy them in stages.
“We want to make it easy for people to enjoy a more youthful look, without having to worry about costs,” Dr. Bonezzi states. “Our prices are very competitive, but some people opt to spread them out to make them even more affordable.”
