Spoiler alert on insurance claims

Did you know there are good and bad claims?

By Seth Zaremba, Zinc Insurance

Many people are afraid to use their insurance because they think their rates will skyrocket. Others lean on their policy often, like a crutch.

What both groups of people have in common is they’re probably not leaning on their insurance agent to help them decide if they should submit a claim—or not. Because we’re on the “inside” of the industry, and know what types of claims are costly and which aren’t, we can tell you whether you’ve got a good claim or not.

And because we don’t have a dog in the fight, we can be that pause button that forces you to slow down and consider your options.

Is the claim you’re submitting one that will limit your carrier choices in the future? Was the incident you experienced something that will likely never happen again?

The only way to know for sure is to make a quick call to your agent, before you decide to submit or not submit.

When you call your carrier directly, the person you talk to is obligated to process your claim. When you call your agent at Zinc, we can take the time to talk strategy with you and determine together if submitting your claim is in your best interest.

If you’d like to have an intelligent conversation about how our client partnerships work, I invite you to give us a call.
