The folks at Pristine Clean report they received a positive response to “The Adventures of Pristine Clean, Vol. 1, No.1” comic introduced in April 2017's Mimi Magazine and continued this month.

Within the two-page illustration, called “Pristine Clean vs. Winter Grime,” a classic good triumphing over evil drama takes place, ending with happy homeowners marveling at their sparkling clean home free of residual winter grime.

“People said it was bold of us to take chances with our advertising and go the extra mile by hiring local artist Len Peralta to create the series with the ultimate goal of educating the consumer in a whimsical and imaginative fashion,” says Ken Wilson, who owns the company along with Anthony Alberino.

He says they are always trying to look outside the box and cultivate a company culture that’s fun.

“But when it comes to our level of service, we are serious and professional, always shooting for the highest level of excellence,” says Anthony.

“Everyone on our production team goes through rigorous ongoing training to operate at the top of their game with each job.”

Pristine Clean specializes in roof washing, house washing, deck washing, and concrete washing and sealing services.

Leaving Shine Behind
Anthony points out that for the roof, diagnosing the situation for each one is integral to cleaning it the most efficiently. For instance, Ken reports people often have the misconception that black streaks on their roof are actually caused by dirt or trees, when often they are caused by a blue-green bacteria known as Gloeocapsa Magma that is spread by airborne spores.

“One of the steps in our system includes applying a biodegradable cleanser and a mildewcide that eliminates organic growth, to take care of the spores,” he says.

“Before that we do a gutter wash with an aluminum brightener to help remove gutter staining. The job isn’t complete until we apply a finish coating of gloss-enhanced surface protectant. We are one of the few in the industry to specialize in this last step that makes a home gleam.”

A Safer Kind of Clean
For the home, this year the gentlemen introduced a new soft washing system and equipment that’s safer for siding, and more efficient at removing dirt and grime.

“High-pressure washing can actually damage siding and strip it of its protective UV coating,” says Ken.

“What’s known as soft washing is gentler and in the end more effective. The pressure we use is about as strong as the average garden hose.”

Taking great care of their employees is also standard operating procedure here.

“Unlike other power washing businesses in the area, we provide year-round work for our employees with benefits so they can raise a family,” says Anthony.

“Not only does this help local workers, but it also provides a continuity of service for our customers as well.”
