The deadline to enroll in an Affordable Care Act (ACA) plan for 2021 is fast approaching. From now until Tuesday, December 15, you have the opportunity to renew or change your plan under the ACA umbrella. After that date, you’ll need a qualifying event to enroll. A qualifying event is the equivalent of a life change…losing healthcare coverage, marriage, or the birth of a child. Plan prices for ACA coverage are based on your age, household and income.
There is also coverage available that falls outside of the ACA network. HealthMarkets Insurance Agency has access to a number of different options, so your choices are many.
