“The spirit of independence, the comfort of home. We are families caring for families…It’s in our roots.”

With locations in Berea and Strongsville, Generations Senior Living encourages its residents to enjoy a vibrant lifestyle, combining a spirit of independence with the comfort of home.

Founded by Robert M. Coury in 1967, the facilities offer seniors independent and assisted living in an inviting nursing home setting to enhance the quality of their lives. The award-winning healthcare management operation is second-generation family-owned and operated.

The Berea location overlooks the sparkling waters of Coe Lake, and is within walking distance of a bank and library, convenient for those who like to venture out and about. In Strongsville, the building’s atrium lobby is punctuated by a soaring fountain waterfall sculpture, grand piano, and formal living room and dining room, all lending the feeling of a fine hotel or posh resort.

The 97 spacious apartments in Berea and 76 in Strongsville boast kitchens with full-sized appliances, making it easy for residents to create their own meals. When they feel like a scrumptious homemade meal cooked by someone else, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the formal dining room.

The caring staff works with each resident, their loved ones and their healthcare team to provide an optimal plan for the individual’s unique social, personal and emotional needs. Residents’ social calendars can be as full as they want them to be, with a bustling slate of activities, parties, art classes, exercise, movie nights, concerts, happy hours and field trips. For companionship, small pets are welcome, too.
