Apex Storage in Valley City is the only mega storage facility in the area and space is filling up fast
By Ken McEntee
Garage storage space always tends to fill up fast, with no place to put your stuff large and small. That’s one reason why many business owners and other individuals were reserving their indoor mega units at the new Apex Storage, in Valley City, before the facility even opened, says owner Correy Petz.
“People love our massive 18-by-60-foot units and the convenient 12-foot-wide by 14-foot-tall doors,” Correy insists. “You can easily fit any RV, a large boat or anything else that drives down the road in here. It’s a ton of space for commercial or residential storage.”
Before the official opening last week, a window company, an HVAC company and a fencing company had already leased mega units.
The insulated, finished units, which lease for $600 monthly on a one-year contract, offer:
- Garage door with opener, plus separate entry door
- 34,000 BTU electric heater
- Fully finished and insulated
- LED lights and two outlets
- 24-hour access
- Wide aisles
“Electricity and heat are important options for people who want to keep their equipment charged, or don’t want to winterize their RVs,” Correy suggests.
A second building, able to accommodate adjacent double or triple units without partition walls, will open in the fall, Correy says. Correy, who owns Evergreen Turf Solutions, recently purchased the land and realized that there were no large storage facilities in Valley City.
“We are a convenient drive from Brunswick, Strongsville and Medina for such a large facility. There is nothing else like it in our area,” he says. “This is a convenient location and has an abundance of space.”
Apex also has a limited number of outdoor units available.
You can reserve your 18-by-16-foot mega unit at Apex Storage by calling 330-662-0122. The facility is located at 5366 Hartneck Road, in Valley City, about a quarter-mile north of the Marks Road-Route 303 intersection.
