You’ll spend anywhere from a third to half as much on solid wood kitchen cabinets at Northeast Factory Direct in Cleveland than you would at any area cabinet retailer. Your NEFD cabinets will have all of the premium features people look for when shopping for cabinets, as recommended by the Consumer Reports.

So, what’s the catch?

“There is no catch,” says owner Alex Nemet. Our cabinets are as good as any of the mainstream names out there. People get that as soon as they come in to see for themselves.”

Customers flock to Northeast Factory Direct when it’s time to build or remodel their kitchens, whether they are in investment properties or in premier luxury homes.

“We love our kitchen,” beams Tammy Detzel, referencing the cabinets in her stunning Cashelmara home overlooking Lake Erie from Bay Village. “We get so many compliments.”

When it was time to modernize their home, Tammy and her husband, Dave, visited several other cabinet retailers before choosing Northeast Factory Direct.

They not only were impressed by the quality and the price at Northeast, but they loved the people who helped them as well.

A Northeast Factory Direct designer drew up the perfect plans on a CAD program to fit the couple’s tastes and lifestyle. In addition to providing the free design, Northeast gave them such a great price for installation, Tammy and Dave abandoned their original plan to do the work themselves. Doing it themselves would have been easy enough, however. Each NEFD cabinet is delivered ready to hang.

“The installers did an excellent job,” Richard says. “And they did a lot of extra work at no additional charge.”

When all was said, done and installed, the final cost was about a third of what Tammy and Dave would have paid at a home improvement store, Tammy estimates.

“I can do that because I don’t have the costly overhead they have at other places,” Alex explains. “Our warehouse isn’t ritzy, and it doesn’t matter. The cabinets have to look good in your kitchen, not in here.”

NEFD features more than 50 different door styles and a virtually unlimited number of stain, paint and finish options. The cabinets include full-extension drawer glides, full overlay doors, soft-close, English dovetailed drawers, and a choice of flat- or raised-panel doors, standard.

The selection also includes all of the components you need to create the perfect kitchen—wall pantries, oven cabinets, super lazy Susan corner bases, diagonal wall cabinets, glass doors, wine and plate racks, toe kicks, wall and base fills, crown molding and blind base units. Cabinets are available in heights of 30-, 36- and 42-inches, with sink bases of up to 36-inches.

“We can sell you an entire solid wood kitchen that would retail for $6,000 for just $1,899,” Alex says. “We buy by the truckload so we can offer savings of 60- to 70-percent, compared to the big box stores, for a better quality cabinet.”

Granite and quartz countertops at NEFD start at $49/square foot installed. There are hundreds of different options to choose from and you get to pick the slab that appeals to you most.
