At Dr. Leah Divito’s Luminous Dental, compassionate care in a modern, high-tech environment is helping people smile again

In September, Dr. Leah Divito of Luminous Dental will celebrate two years of providing expert dental care in a compassionate environment at her modern, comfortable office in the heart of Hudson. Dr. Divito feels lucky to be working with her “dream team” staff. Together the staff provides a dental care experience that is supportive and beneficial to every patient, whether you’re diligent about your dental health or it’s been a while.
“No judgment here,” Dr. Divito says. “Many people have put a visit to the dentist at the bottom of their list for many reasons. We get it and we’d love to see you. And if it’s nerves keeping you away, we have a brand-new office with amenities like TVs in treatment rooms, blankets, and eye masks to help you relax. We have patients who say they haven’t been to a dentist in years and look forward to coming back. That’s music to our ears.”
The ability to offer her patients the latest in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry in an atmosphere like the one at Luminous Dental is why Dr. Divito opened her own practice.
“This is not a corporate setting where I have to follow someone else’s plan for my practice,” Dr. Divito says. “This is a career I’ve wanted since I was very young and I’m happy to offer dental services my way.”
Dr. Divito’s way is about building relationships with her patients to take the fear and anxiety out of dental visits—and that starts with prevention.
“This is not one-size-fits-all dentistry,” Dr. Divito says. “Prevention is best. The less I have to pick up that drill the better for everyone.”
From the first person you see in the office, Shari Romesberg at the front desk, to Kayla Kinsey, our EFDA dental assistant, Shelby Dieterich, RDH registered dental hygienist and Dr. Divito, the Luminous Dental team is focused on ensuring every patient gets exactly what they need.
“I do a full set of diagnostics, digital X-rays and intra-oral camera shots, then talk with the patient about options,” Dr. Divito says. “I like to start conservatively and provide a level of care that the patient is comfortable with. Services include basic dental care, Invisalign, crowns, veneers and implant placement. We want to help you achieve your best smile and have a positive experience.”
Dr. Divito loves the tight-knit community in the Hudson area, and when she’s not busy with her practice, enjoys her family life with her husband Jason and daughter Julia.
