At the freshly expanded Healthy Attractions, a host of new health and wellness options for people, and even their pets, is available all in one sensational location

This month, Heather Kuchar is taking Healthy Attractions to new heights, doubling its size and opening the doors to a synergistic group of women who help others achieve their best lives.
“This expansion has been a dream of mine since founding my life-coaching studio,” she says. “Each of these ladies brings a special talent to the table. Our clean and organic philosophies mirror each other and we’re stronger together. There will be lots of overlap and collaboration between us.”
Healing Through Functional Medicine
Dr. Kelly Gallagher specializes in functional medicine, specifically a technique she calls Neurological Response Testing, or NRT, and offers her services at Healthy Attractions.
“I test every organ and gland in the body, pinpointing strengths and weaknesses, then prioritizing how I will treat them through organic herbs, vitamins, minerals,” she explains. “I can boost a patient’s immune system, balance out-of-whack hormones, help repair and rebuild the gut, as well as promote weight loss.”
Patients take the formulas Dr. Kelly prescribes in either pill form, tablets, liquids, or gel capsules. She can also prescribe a clinical nutrition program to further help people reach their goals.
Although a chiropractor by trade, she has shifted her practice over the past 20 years to address her patients’ holistic health.
“I often see patients who have been to other traditional medical doctors and still not found help,” says Dr. Kelly. “I resolve their symptoms and help them get back to the freedom of life.”
A Boutique Shopping Experience
In addition to adding clinical practitioners, Heather has decked out the lobby of the new space with adorable shopping opportunities, including Bare’s Closet, named after her own dog, Baron. The space includes a host of high-end canine accessories such as bejeweled collars and carrying cases. You can also purchase the handmade organic Bare’s Favorite specialty dog food, customized to each client.
Another wonderful shopping opportunity is Sofiel by Peri Skin Care. Heather got to know local skincare expert Lisa Stewart after years as a client, and knew she wanted to bring her organic and innovative line into the new space.
The food-grade products have high concentrations of pure ingredients, such as camu camu, a fruit that naturally contains beneficial substances including vitamin C, beta-carotene, fatty acids and proteins. They are free from chemicals and preservatives. You can buy them, as well as schedule a skin consultation with Lisa. She will host educational seminars at Healthy Attractions, too.
Also in the vein of one-stop shopping for your body, mind and soul, Heather invited fellow yoga instructor Kelly Santana to join her and boost the number and styles of classes offered here for beginners to advanced, as well as the ultra-private Nails by Tammy studio, which specializes in a variety of spa manicures and pedicures by well-known nail tech Tammy Wintrow-Scott. The soothing services take place in a pampering setting complete with large-screen television to catch a movie or show.
Heather's Story of Inspiration
As Nietzsche once said and Kelly Clarkson once sang, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
Just ask Heather Kuchar.
Within a six-month time-period 10 years ago, she discovered she suffered from multiple sclerosis, became sick to the point of being paralyzed in the hospital, learned to walk and function again, then went through an ugly divorce, and lost her father, all within a rapid six-month succession. Through it all, she never gave up.
“Since I had spent more than 25 years in the health and wellness industry at several national weight-loss organizations, I went back to researching what makes us healthy…what makes us well physically, emotionally and spiritually,” she explains.
“After I went into remission, my neurologist suggested I get into a less stressful line of work. He thought I’d be a natural at health coaching. I agreed that worked well with my degrees in biology and exercise science.”
She studied and became a certified life coach and yoga instructor.
“Part of my journey is to help others find their way to total life transformation, push the reset on their lifestyle and take charge of their goals,” says Heather, who opened Healthy Attractions in 2017. The studio includes office space for her to coach her clients one-on-one privately through several transformational, detox and self-discovery programs, as well as a beautifully appointed yoga studio.
“The first consultation is free,” she says. “I will measure your health indicators, such as percentage of fat and hydration metrics on a Tanita scale. Then together we’ll create an actionable plan for sustainable wellness.”
