Labor Day weekend marks the grand opening of Cleveland Furniture Company’s brand-new, 48,000-square-foot location in Brunswick. All five locations will celebrate with fantastic deals on furniture and accessories for every room in the home.

A Furniture Family’s History
The Cirino family has been supplying Ohioans with furniture since 1975. Paul Cirino Sr. was a furniture buyer and sales manager for various stores in the Cleveland area throughout his career. His sons grew up working alongside their dad doing odd jobs and learning the business that would someday be theirs.
“We worked with Dad in high school and college summers on delivery trucks, putting tables and lamps together and helping out any way we could,” Paul Cirino Jr. says. “We just wanted to do what Dad was doing and ended up falling in love with this business.”
In 2003, Paul and his brother Jason were all grown up and ready to start their own wholesale business, where they bought furniture in bulk then sold it to brick-and-mortar stores all over Northeast Ohio.
“If you sold furniture in this area you were buying from us,” Paul says. “When the Kronheim’s and Basista owners were ready to retire in 2018 without a succession plan, we switched gears, took over those spaces, and The Cleveland Furniture Company was born.”
The Cirino brothers say the transition from wholesalers to retailers was seamless, since they were able to hire existing store employees.
“People still wanted to work,” Jason says. “They knew the business and were familiar with all the product lines, so we hit the ground running and never looked back. And many of those employees are still with us today.”
Walking into any Cleveland Furniture Company location is like walking into a friend’s home.
“Our employees are our extended family,” Jason says. “Many of them knew our father and us since we were kids. Everyone is welcoming, low pressure, knowledgeable and has a passion for this business. We’re not pushing furniture out the door. We want to understand your needs so we can find you the best option. Cleveland Furniture Company’s new Brunswick location is the fifth store in six years for Paul Jr. and Jason.
