Over 50 years ago, Home Appliance Sales & Service began as a service only company. They rapidly developed a reputation for commitment to excellent customer experience.

According to Shaun Vahl, service manager,

“The secret sauce in the appliance repair business is having the right personnel with a well-run, highly ethical company behind them. We make sure we hire people who you would want to invite into your home.”

What Makes Home Appliance Better
“We have our own in-house apprenticeship program,” Shaun explains.

“All technicians, regardless of their level of experience, attend this comprehensive training so that upon completion we are comfortable and the tech is comfortable that they can handle any repair issue a customer may have in a competent and professional manner.”

The Home Appliance Sales and Service tradition of commitment to an excellent customer experience made them wildly successful against some mighty formidable competition when they entered the market selling a broad range of appliances. Today, that consumer-centric approach permeates the entire organization, be it in sales, delivery, installation or service—all of which they happen to do in-house to ensure their customers are well satisfied.

Recently I had the opportunity to meet the members of the Home Appliance service team and walked away impressed by their energy and enthusiasm for fixing their clients’ appliance problems. Two things became readily apparent:

  1. These people really know their stuff.
  2. They need more team members.

“People love that we are local,” Shaun says.

“There’s no dialing an 800 number and not knowing who is going to show up. Also, our reputation is well known. People who know us know that we service every brand of major appliance available.”

Servicing High-End Appliances
Dan Bocan, another service department veteran, confirms Shaun’s point.

“We are one of very few area companies that service virtually all high-end appliance brands like Thermadore, Verona, DCS and many more. We only do authorized warranty work on the products we sell, like the brands I mentioned. But once an appliance is out of warranty, we can service it and we do it correctly.”

Practicing the Golden Rule, Every Day
Not to be outdone on reasons to call Home Appliance, Kyle McEntee reminds everyone that,

“Our customers tell us that we have among the best service call prices anywhere and they love getting straight, honest answers.”

Brian Robbins from the Lodi store adds,

“When you call, a live person picks up the phone and you are warmly greeted. That same personal service follows every step of the way. In an age when you have to be careful who you let in your house, our customers call us again and again out of trust and friendship.”

Kenmore Appliances Expertly Serviced
Lastly, Daniel Cogar explains how many people are turning to Home Appliance to have their Kenmore appliances repaired;

“As word has gotten out about Sears problems, so has word that we are experts at repairing Kenmore major appliances. Since so many Kenmore products are made by brands like Whirlpool, LG and General Electric that we sell and service every day we have ready parts availability and the knowledge to diagnose and repair these products with no hassles.”
