3. This is a small business. Supporting local helps everyone involved from me and my family to the small coffee growers who I know and trust. 4. It’s not more expensive. There’s a myth that exists that buying coffee from a small-batch roaster means it is more expensive. This is not the case. I don’t have the same overhead a large manufacturer has and even though I sell much less product, I can afford to be very competitive on pricing. You won’t pay more for a superior product. This is my passion, and I love talking with people about the origin of the beans and telling my growers’ personal stories. Coffee is a lot like wine.
