Free CEU credits

As group gatherings, seminars, symposiums and lunch and learn programs prepare to swing back into action, local estate planning and elder law expert Attorney Margaret T. Karl is finding herself in demand.
For the past decade, she’s given lectures throughout Northeast Ohio. She also provides talks for continuing education credit at no charge to nurses and social workers.
“It’s wonderful to see so many places opening up again and planning to return to their programming,” says Margie. “At least during the pandemic, I was able to continue the education credit via Zoom, which was helpful to people.”
Industries and professional groups that have welcomed Margie as an informational speaker include insurance agencies, title companies and real estate firms.
“I cater my subject matter to each audience, covering specific aspects relative to their operations,” she adds. “Everyone is looking for potential pitfalls in their business that can have legal ramifications. I can offer value-added ways to connect these professionals to their clients.”
Margie is also frequently requested to speak to support groups, such as caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s, dementia or Parkinson’s.
“There are a number of concerns these people have when it comes to estate planning for their loved ones,” she says. “I gear the talk to red flags a caregiver should look for in issues such as handling documentation, deeds and transferring real estate titles.”
Margaret T. Karl, attorney at law, is located at 25800 North Depot Street, Suite 102, in Olmsted Falls. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Interested in having Margie speak to your group or organization? Call 440-782-5051 or visit OlmstedOhioLaw.com.
