Have you noticed swirls or scratches on your car’s finish? It might be time to take it to the next level.

Shawn Medina is the local expert when it comes to preserving luxury automobiles. He’s been restoring cars since the age of 14, studied automotive technology and worked for years at Ford Motor Company. He founded Next Level Auto Detailing in 2009 and quickly earned a reputation for excellence.

“This time of year, I’m doing a lot of paint correction and machine polishing,” he says. “I assess every inch of the finish, then customize a treatment with pads, polishes and compounds to remove swirls, scratches and rashes. The severity of the scratches will determine how aggressively I will have to polish to return it to perfection for a show car finish. In almost all cases, I can save someone from having to have their car repainted, which could cost thousands of dollars.”

After polishing, he can apply a ceramic coating over the finish to protect it from future scratching or marring.

“When it comes to keeping your car clean, I recommend washing it about once a week, by hand if possible, or a no-touch laser carwash,” he says.

Over the years, Shawn has built a loyal following of customers and he says his favorite part of the day is seeing the look on their faces when they come to pick up their car.

Over the past 12 years, Shawn has been consulting with customers who are looking to buy or sell anything from specialty cars to daily drivers. He recently obtained his dealer’s license and is always looking for quality vehicles of any kind. Thinking of selling? Feel free to swing by.
