Four races remain in the City of Green’s 2023 Green Great Eight Race Series, meaning if you have already participated in at least one, you still have a chance to participate in five of them to earn your commemorative hoodie, in addition to awards and swag provided by each race. Last year the series raised more than $150,000 for nonprofits and involved 3,500 runners and walkers.

Here are the remaining races:

Acorn Run

The Acorn Run 5K, presented by The Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis, travels down a beautiful suburban area to Green High School, circles the school, and returns to The Oak Clinic.

The 1-Mile Run/Walk travels around the Summa Health Facility. Both courses are flat, paved, and monitored by health professionals.

All registration and sponsorship dollars will benefit the patients at The Oak Clinic who are cared for regardless of their ability to pay.

The event is being held Sunday, September 10, at the The Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis, 3800 Massillon Road.

The 5K ($30/$25 students) begins at 8 a.m., and the 1-Mile Run/Walk ($30/$20 students) starts at 8:10 a.m. All participants receive a t-shirt and gift bag.
