MDG Flooring America stands as a beacon where contemporary styles seamlessly intertwine with timeless values, shaping the homes of today and contributing to the future of the community.

For over two decades, the family-operated showroom in Medina has proudly served as the premier destination for many seeking to elevate their living spaces, according to Scott Powers, vice president of sales for MDG Flooring America, who emphasizes: “We’re not just about following today’s trends. We’re committed to building enduring relationships and safeguarding our customers’ investments in their homes.”

The showroom, spanning an impressive 5,000 square feet, has everything for kitchen and bath upgrades and extensive flooring options, including carpeting, hardwood, laminate, tile, and luxury vinyl tile that only MDG’s affiliation with a 500-store nationwide cooperative can provide.

The newly reimagined MDG showroom opts for a color-centric organization over the traditional grouping of materials by the product manufacturer, making the process of going after your preferred style more intuitive.

“While we can match or even surpass the pricing of big box stores, as part of the co-op, we’re the world’s number one purchaser of flooring,” Scott says. “Our vast network gives us access to an array of high-quality products that big box stores can’t match. What makes the difference is we treat our customers like friends, get to know them, and are there to walk them through the whole process.”

While MDG is there to help, a newly reimagined showroom opts for a color-centric organization over the traditional grouping of materials by the product manufacturer, making the process of going after your preferred style more intuitive, whether you are after the latest trends or something more timeless.

“White kitchens are still popular. It’s a timeless choice, but we are starting to see more woods,” Scott says. “We’re also seeing raised-panel cabinetry come back.”

“On the bathroom side, paneled showers are replacing tiled showers,” he adds. “Instead of traditional individual tiles, you have a full sheet panel of cultured marble with no grout lines, so it looks nice and is easy to clean. Luxury vinyl is replacing cold tile. You can’t even tell the difference anymore. It looks that good.”

Integrating those contemporary design trends into your home has never been simpler, thanks to MDG’s recently unveiled “Room to Explore” system.

With MDG’s “Room to Explore” system, you can upload photos of your project space from your smartphone and superimpose flooring samples onto your image.

PXP (Picture Exchange Platform) stations make it easy to visualize flooring samples using QR codes, or you can upload photos of your project space from your smartphone and superimpose flooring samples onto your image, creating a real-world rendering of how each material will look in your home.

MDG has long-standing relationships with every installer its customers invite into their homes.

“When you’re entrusting a contractor to do the work, you need assurance they’ll be there when promised, during the installation and after,” Scott says. “That’s something you don’t get if you hire just anyone you find on social media. With our 23 years of experience and brick-and-mortar presence, you know we’ll stand by our work and be here for years to come.”

MDG’s core values have remained just as steadfast, including that of “legacy,” manifesting in a commitment to giving back.
