Hinckley’s newest neighborhood is charming potential residents with the inviting promise of upscale living with amenities to suit every interest and the ultra-convenience of a maintenance-free lifestyle.

The Village at Hinckley Oaks lives up to its endearing tagline: Comfort. Convenience. Connection.

“Our 117 luxury apartment homes appeal to people over 55 as well as younger families,” says Area Manager Maria Bossone. “As a designated majority senior community, we need to have 80% of our homes occupied by at least one person over 55, and the other 20% can be occupied by younger residents, which is about what we are currently seeing. Our neighborhood is perfectly suited for people with active lifestyles who are also social.”

Residents enjoy all the upside of home life without the burdens that can come with it. They’ll never have to mow their own lawn, trim their trees or shovel snow. And any interior maintenance issues are taken care of as well, overseen by an on-site management person.

Maria explains that people who have already moved into the neighborhood are enjoying a strong sense of community, and it’s customary to see them gathering on the sidewalks, in the clubhouse and at the fitness center.

Amenities Abound
She notes the nicely appointed state-of-the-art fitness center is outfitted with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, Life Fitness training equipment, weights for strength training and a smart fitness mirror you can interact with for a host of exercise choices.

“People can easily drop their gym membership when they move here,” she adds. “Within the clubhouse, folks are having a blast at the professional indoor golf simulator, playing famous courses from around the world and keeping their swing in peak form in the offseason. There are also loads of landscaped green space to take in.”

With the weather turning nicer, they are already seeing neighbors making the most of the new pickleball courts and the outdoor gas firepits. Before you know it, they’ll be firing up the grill stations in the outdoor kitchen.

“The interior of the clubhouse is beautiful and well utilized,” she says. “It includes a professional-grade culinary demonstration kitchen. We’ve had several people reserve it to host special parties and private functions, such as craft nights.”

With a prime location off W. 130th St. near Route 303, the area is close to myriad of restaurants, shopping, parks, nature reserves and easy highway access to I-71, about halfway between Cleveland and Akron.

Upgrades, High-End Finishes Galore
Maria reports that residents appreciate the high-end finishes in the homes, such as quartz countertops, five-star energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, high-end white cabinetry with soft-close drawers, white subway tile backsplash, luxury vinyl plank flooring, crown molding, smart thermostats, plush carpeting in the bedrooms, custom closet shelving, custom showers and angled soaking tubs, modern lighting fixtures and ceiling fans.

“Another huge draw for people I notice from giving tours is how much the storage space means to them,” she adds. “Many of our residents are snowbirds and empty nesters who have downsized from larger homes yet still don’t want to get rid of all their things. Garages feature loads of shelving for organizing items at-a-glance. The spacious living spaces are appreciated, too, with thoughtfully designed, wide-open floor plans with a large kitchen island and breakfast bar, pantries, walk-in closets and screened-in or covered patios and porches.”

Homes in The Village at Hinckley Oaks feature plush carpeting in the bedrooms, custom closet shelving, custom showers and angled soaking tubs, modern lighting fixtures and ceiling fans.

Nine floor plans are available, both two- and three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes ranging in size from 1,293 to 1,532 square feet.

“Thanks to keyless, covered front entry, people feel safe and secure,” she says. “And when visitors stop by, they can access guest parking as well.”
