One of the best gifts you can give

One of the most important gifts you can give to your loved ones is a very special gift you give to yourself: the gift of good health. Let me explain.

Our loved ones depend on us for our wisdom, our parental abilities, our ability to join in and be a part of things. Maybe you’re at the stage where your kids need help moving into their college dorms or at a time when grandchildren are asking, “Why can’t Grandma play with me?”

As counterintuitive as it may seem, there is a reason flight attendants instruct us to put the oxygen mask on ourselves first—we need to be our best to give our best.

Unlike a typical vein clinic, we don’t just treat varicose veins. Our focus is on getting you healthy. That includes veins in the legs, yes, but also the entire circulatory system, along with nutrition, walking, and reducing widespread inflammation. Moving is a huge contributor to better quality of life, but fatigue, achiness, and swelling reduces our ability and willingness to move, resulting in a downward health spiral driven a sedentary lifestyle.

We want you not only to have more years, but have more high-quality years.

So as you’re making your New Year’s resolutions in the coming days, consider one that will also be a tremendous gift to your family: Get started on the journey to a healthier you.

To learn more, give our office a call, especially if you are suffering from any of the following symptoms: • leg pain • swelling • heaviness • fatigue • itching • burning • inflammation • skin discoloration • restless legs syndrome.
