Prepping for the big day

Wedding season is upon us!

After so many couples postponed their nuptials due to the pandemic last year, we are enjoying a bumper crop of matrimonial clients. That’s where we shine. Wedding hair and makeup is a niche specialty.

When it comes to walking down the aisle looking your absolute best, preparation is everything. We recommend a bride starts working with us about six months in advance of the wedding. Her hair might need to go through steps of processing. Many brides opt for hair extensions to achieve the volume or height they desire. And facials targeted to their skin type will have them glowing. Makeup is also an important consideration. There’s a fine line between too much and not enough. I’ve seen brides walk down the aisle looking clownish with too much, and those who practically disappear with not enough, going for a natural look that’s a little too natural.

The day of the wedding, brides and their parties enjoy hanging out in our lounge getting manis, pedis, massages and makeup. Grooms need to be groomed, too. We love getting them ready, with a haircut or color to bring out their best.
