Mimi magazine and Royal Park Fine Wine go way, way back. Nearly 20 years ago, the second issue of Mimi featured Royal Park on the cover. Since then, both have grown—but only one offers one of the best selections of wine, beer, bourbon and other liquors in the entire state.
“Certain things change in this business,” says owner Joe Soussou. “Popular wines, spirits and beers come and go, but one thing remains the same at Royal Park and that’s our dedication to providing our customers with the best selection and often the most difficult-to-find choices in every category.”
People come from all over for Joe’s wine and liquor selection, but also for his, and every staff member’s knowledge and expertise.
“All of us here know how to suggest the best options for your money so you can be confident you’re making the right choice for yourself, or for a special gift for the holidays,” says Joe.
Started by Joe and his wife Randa 22 years ago, Royal Park began as a small shop offering wine and chocolates. Today, they are twice as big and offer everything for the perfect holiday gift for the wine, bourbon or beer lover on your list.
“Tell us what you’re looking for and together we’ll make a choice that will impress and satisfy,” says Joe. “We’ve been at this a long time. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that the more expensive the bottle the better the wine. After 22 years in the industry, we have buying power and great relationships with our suppliers. We have a wine to cover every palate at every price point from under $10 to well over $100. Just ask. It’s easy to find expensive wines but not easy to find a $20 bottle that tastes like a $100 bottle.”
