Senior Care Authority helps families match their loved ones with the right assisted living community, at no cost
By Ken McEntee
Mark Molnar was busy working as the CFO of a Cleveland business when he suddenly needed to find an assisted living community for his father in Columbus.
“Dad fell and broke his hip,” Mark recalls. “He was recovering in a skilled nursing home when I got a call telling me that he had to move out and wasn’t able to go home. I ended up taking three or four days off work trying to figure out what the heck these places were, how much they cost, and which would be the best fit for Dad.”
Six years later, Senior Care Authority—a Rocky River-based service Mark owns with his wife, Mary—is helping people just like him find the right place for their parents or other loves ones to call home. The service is provided at no-cost to seniors or their families.
“We know the senior living communities (assisted living, memory care, independent living) all around Northeast Ohio,” Mark explains. “We have visited and researched the specifics of each community and work with families to find the best fit. It saves time, it avoids stress, and, at the end of the day, you can be comfortable that Mom and Dad are settled into their ideal home.”
While Senior Care Authority doesn’t charge clients for these placement services, the company does offer other valuable services—like skilled nursing and long-term care placement, eldercare consulting and older driver self-assessments—for a reasonable fee.
The company has expanded its staff and now includes a team with over 30 years of experience working directly in senior living communities, directly with leading hospitals and other referral partners as well as a licensed healthcare professional.
“We have been fortunate to find some great people with deep and personal knowledge of the senior living market in Northeast Ohio. This allows us to provide additional insights and knowledge to help our clients,” Mark says.
