Skip the injections and try one of the hottest organic skincare lines in Northeast Ohio

When it comes to skin care, you don’t know what you don’t know.
According to industry expert, local skincare guru, and esthetician Lisa Stewart, who founded Sofiel by Peri Skin Care in 2017, since anything you put on your skin is readily absorbed into the body and bloodstream, it should be natural, organic and good for you.
Lisa offers the entire line, as well as educational group seminars and skincare consultations, at the newly expanded Healthy Attractions, which opened in Fairlawn earlier this month.
“Attaining healthy skin means avoiding products with synthetic ingredients,” she says. “Department store skincare products made by the big companies often make claims featuring key ingredients such as vitamin C, but when it’s GMO-derived, it won’t produce the same benefits as naturally derived vitamin C. GMO ingredients are terrible for your body. They weaken the skin’s natural barrier, which causes sensitivities and breakouts.”
Lisa has a background in the pharmaceutical industry, so she knows quite a bit about product and formula efficacy.
Pure Ingredients
“By design, my products have high concentrations of pure ingredients, such as camu camu, a fruit that naturally contains beneficial substances including vitamin C, beta-carotene, fatty acids and proteins,” says Lisa. “The products are food-grade and are so pure you can eat them. There are no preservatives or chemicals, and they are gluten-free, vegan and cruelty-free.”
Lisa’s clients report their skin feels refreshed and exfoliated, brightened, tightened and moisturized after using the products.
Another way Sofiel is different than department store brands? There isn’t a dizzying number of products to buy. Lisa keeps things simple. For everyday use on all skin types, there’s a toner and daytime and nighttime moisturizers.
“They penetrate deeply without harming the skin’s natural barrier,” she says. “You can feel them working as soon as you apply them.”
Lisa says she wants people to understand that having beautiful skin doesn’t have to cost you a fortune. “Our products cost about as much as you’d pay at a department store and produce far better results. Before anyone considers injections or fillers, I hope they give us a try.”
Invigorating Body Oil and Fragrance
“In addition to the everyday skin care regimen, Body Enlightenment Oil brightens the skin and makes it more luminous,” she says. “This super-hydrating oil tones, lifts and, over time, improves the appearance of dark spots, scars and stretch marks.”
One of her newest products that’s garnering rave reviews is a roll-on fragrance called Essence. For anyone who wants to smell like a day at the beach, this essential oil-based scent is fresh, clean and long-lasting.
Sharing Her Passion
Certified Life Coach Heather Kuchar, who founded Healthy Attractions, first met Lisa as one of her facial clients.
“I instantly became a fan and follower of her ultra-clean products and what they could do for my own skin,” says Heather. “It means a lot to me to be able to introduce this amazing line to people.”
Joining Sofiel, Healthy Attractions includes a posh pet boutique, pet food formulas and supplements, functional medicine, life coaching, yoga classes and a nail salon.
