Take your kitchen from what it is now, to wow, with The Kitchen Refresh from Curb Appeal Painting
By Patricia Nugent
For anyone tired of staring at their dreary, dated kitchen cabinets, but not looking to break their bank with a complete kitchen renovation, Curb Appeal Painting is the master of The Kitchen Refresh.
“This is actually our most-requested service for our interior division,” says company owner Andrew Smola.
Since 2003, the family-owned operation has earned a name for itself as one of the East Side’s most trusted companies.
“We love what we do and it shows,” he says. “We appreciate that a client’s home is their most valuable asset. Our crews treat every home as if it were their own. We are meticulously clean and leave the job site with the highest functionality for the client.”
A Sky-High Level of Professionalism
There are many steps taken by professional painting contractors that leave a like-new finish to cabinetry that will stand up to the rigors of kitchen wear and tear.
Every job begins with the setup, creating a “dust wall” to make sure no dust or spray travels into the home.
Andrew explains that first they disassemble doors, drawers and hardware.
“We clean all wood cabinets before applying the primer or sealer coat, then paint,” he says. “We sand them thoroughly then dust them off and vacuum with a HEPA machine. Then we apply several finish coats, sanding between each one for the best effect.”
When the job is over, Andrew says they make sure the client is 100% happy with the product and the process.
“We work with the client to select the best colors for the space,” he says. “With our professional-grade paints, any color imaginable is available for endless design options.”
Andrew says clients are calling and hoping for a kitchen refresh before Christmas.
“There are several openings remaining, so depending on the job, we should be able to accommodate that if it’s booked before the first week of December,” he adds.
What Customers are Saying
Few painting companies in the Cleveland area have cultivated the amount of five-star reviews that Curb Appeal has. Here are a few.
David L. has this to say about the interior work he had done in his home. “Interior work is very disruptive and the crew’s skill in getting it done as quickly as possible was remarkable; professional to a T. The result looks so beautiful that we’re happy to keep living in the house instead of selling. We’ve recommended Curb Appeal to friends who are very picky and they were just as happy as we are with the result.”
Ashley E. admits she is a detail-oriented person, which fit nicely with this company. “Our project entailed a large interior paint job with detailing. Andrew did a great job of meeting with us and going over the quote. Mike did a wonderful job of managing his team and keeping the project on track over more than a two-week period. He and his team were professional and accommodating, and our home looks very nice due to their attention to detail and craftsmanship.”
Jen S. reports that she had previously experienced poor interactions with past contractors in her home. Her attitude changed after she hired Curb Appeal.
“Curb Appeal was such a breath of fresh air,” she says. “They were incredibly responsive via email and phone, arrived promptly for every appointment, and finished our project in just two-and-a-half days. They did a great job of removing wallpaper and painting our laundry room.”
