The summer is soon coming to an end and reality is likely starting to set in for the recent high school graduate or young adult in your life on what comes next post-high school. Are they properly equipped to face the future?

Tanisha Taylor Coaching offers young adults aged 18 to 29 struggling with adulthood and the responsibilities that come with it the resources and tools necessary to navigate their journey, move forward in areas they feel stuck, and experience the life they desire.

“This simple program helps young adults create a healthy and sustainable life utilizing a community of experts to help members in this stage of life achieve their goals,” owner Tanisha Taylor says. “After almost 30 years in the banking industry, I gained an understanding of people’s relationship with money and the psychology surrounding that relationship. I decided I wanted to do something to help young people start on the right path with the financial and other critical relationships in their lives.”

Tanisha was drawn to helping this particular age group because she always felt some important life skills were missing for them.

Parents and grandparents of local young adults attend a recent seminar that Tanisha held in Independence to learn more about the benefits of the coaching program for the young adult in their lives.

“You’re an adult at 18 and all of a sudden you’re signing documents you don’t understand and are faced with daunting financial responsibilities and decisions about your future that you’re not equipped to make,” Tanisha says. “I went to work to develop Tanisha Taylor Coaching to simplify the futures of young adults. We help members develop many life skills our educational system doesn’t have the time for.”

Tanisha’s exclusively online program gives clients access to an entire community of thoughtfully curated professionals in the areas of finance, wealth, fitness, faith, family and entrepreneurship.

“These are the foundational areas of life where young people need to establish healthy relationships,” Tanisha says. “How do you love, trust and communicate in these areas and relate to family and friends? There are tangible things you have to do to be successful and we will show you the way.”

Members gain online access to live sessions with community leaders for a virtual interactive experience, or sessions can be viewed at your convenience.

“Sessions are always available through the app, where everything we offer is right in the palm of your hand,” Tanisha says.

Tanisha Taylor Coaching is not individual coaching. Members peruse the schedule of sessions, see what appeals to them in any of the six focus areas, and join a live session to interact in real-time or check them out at their convenience.

Tanisha Taylor has designed her program as a true educational community where members are tasked with tangible goals and then held accountable.

“I wanted the format to be comfortable for this particular age group,” Tanisha says. “It has more of a social media feel, where members click, like and comment, which is what this generation is used to.”

And don’t think that virtual sessions offer no accountability for members. Tanisha has designed the program as a true educational community where members are tasked with tangible goals and then held accountable.

“For example, a finance session might set a goal of opening a savings account, a health session may set the goal of making a doctor’s appointment and a fitness session a workout or wellness goal,” Tanisha says. “Members will learn from these experts how to be independent in the real world.”

A main goal for Tanisha is to help members find their way in the world, and that’s different for everyone.

“Most kids think they must go to college to guarantee a solid future,” Tanisha says. “Others graduate college and still aren’t sure what they want. We teach you the steps to take care of yourself financially, physically and emotionally, enabling you to find your path. Let’s tackle life’s challenges together.”
