In keeping up with the worldwide shift to remote working and learning, Ursuline College has redesigned its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to be fully online for maximum flexibility. Classes began last fall.

In 11 months, students can earn this in-demand degree to grow their careers and personal brands with new professional knowledge, skills and confidence. Classes are taught in an asynchronous format, so students have the flexibility to take classes on a schedule that works best for them. A slower-paced, part-time option is also available.

“In April 2023, Forbes noted that an MBA is more relevant than ever,” MBA Program Director Mary Kovach, PhD says. “With the asynchronous format, graduate students can attend classes at their convenience—before work, during lunch or in the evening. Regardless of the time of day, students will have access to professors to answer questions and to mentor them. They will also network with their classmates and other organizations.”

Whether your undergraduate degree is in business, health care or even fashion, you’re afforded more earning power with an MBA. It will help you establish your own business or advance your current career.

Dr. Kovach recently joined the Ursuline College faculty from Miami University, where she was an associate professor teaching in-person, online and hybrid business courses.

“Ursuline College already offers a dozen online undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs,” she notes. “The redesigned MBA program builds on this expertise.”

Dr. Kovach is the author of the award-winning best-sellers #MINDSET: A Research-Based Approach to Understanding Motivation and ROCKSTAR Manager: From Theory to Practice. She also published numerous peer-reviewed articles and is on the International Editorial Board for The Journal of Values Based Leadership. Her YouTube channel, entitled Dr. K – The Management Professor, offers free business advice and has more than 300,000 views.

“Ursuline has taken the best of our IACBE-accredited MBA program and updated it to meet the needs of professionals in today’s market,” Dean of Arts, Sciences and Professional Studies Jenise Snyder, PhD, says. “This program embodies our mission to prepare our graduates for positions of leadership, service and professional excellence.”

Founded in 1871, Ursuline College is an accredited liberal arts college rooted in Catholic traditions of intellectual inquiry and social justice. Ursuline educates students for service, leadership and professional excellence through an array of undergraduate, graduate and degree-completion programs in the liberal arts, nursing and professional studies.

Ursuline College is located at 2550 Lander Road in Pepper Pike. Students can enroll now for classes beginning August 26, 2024. There are five additional start dates throughout the year. Call 440-449-4200 or visit Ursuline.edu/MBA for more information.
