Since we’re halfway between Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, now’s a good time to recognize one local company for its patriotic initiatives.
For Denise and Mark Zervos, who own The Neighborhood Experts at Platinum Real Estate, patriotism is personal—and lasts all year long.
This compassionate couple founded the Heroes Program 10-plus years ago to honor local heroes and thank them for their service by offering cash rebates.
“We’ve expanded the program to include police officers, fire fighters, EMTs, active and retired military personnel, educators, doctors, nurses and health-care workers and their families when buying or selling their home through Platinum Real Estate,” says Denise. “We’ve always believed in the power of taking care of the people who so tirelessly take care of others. These folks are truly unsung heroes, out there on the front lines every day. We owe them a debt of gratitude.”
Each applicant can receive up to a $1,000 rebate. According to the local agents who oversee the program, Nycole Kostelac and Jaime Cordova, over the last several years, the company has given away more than $34,000 locally.
