Anyone looking for a delightful dose of cheer and charm this upcoming holiday season will marvel at Tomàseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas.

“Since the show always nearly sell out, we opened our box office early this year,” says Brian Bigley, who, along with his wife, Kristen, produces the heartwarming event.

The wildly entertaining performances include native Irish storytelling, interspersed with internationally acclaimed Irish musicians, singers and dancers.

The audience will be magically transported to the night before Christmas circa 1950s in a remote farmhouse along the west coast of Ireland. Tomaseen brings to life the yuletide tradition of neighboring families gathering around the fire spinning stories, singing soulful tunes and kicking up their heels.

Grammy Award-winning guitarist William Coulter and Ireland’s finest multi-instrumentalist Eimear Arkins will “raise the rafters” with their beloved Irish music.

Rounding out the many dancers of note are Leneghan Academy dance teacher Alyssa Reichert, who toured internationally with Riverdance, and Marcus Donnelly, a highly celebrated former World Dance Champion.

Tomaseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas takes place Sunday, December 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the Medina Performing Arts Center, 851 Weymouth Road in Medina. Buy tickets, which range from $24-$32, at KBBproductions.net, where you can also see other available shows. Questions? Call 440-554-2394.
