Vinyl siding has a whole new attitude

Steve Yoak sees his home exterior transformation business—Renew Home Exteriors—as a means of upgrading neighborhoods, cities and towns, one well-done job at a time.
The locally owned, family-run business was founded by Steve in 2020 and has been growing ever since.
“Our family has been in the industry for years, so it was natural for me to follow our passion,” says Steve. “We work only with hand-picked, high-performance brands of roofing materials, replacement windows, vinyl siding and doors, installed by highly-trained technicians.”
It all starts with a free, no-pressure, in-home consultation. Homeowners sit down and speak with a salesperson who shows them samples and takes measurements. By the end of the consultation, which usually takes about an hour, he or she gives them a price estimate.

The home pictured here, a three-bedroom Colonial in Geneva, is a good example of what a difference the folks at Renew can make.
“Built in 1997, the place was still sporting the original siding, which was a pale yellow and in bad shape,” says Kipp Yoak, Steve’s uncle as well as the general manager of Renew Home Exteriors. “We sat down with the homeowner to go over selections. The color they decided on was Laguna Blue. We are seeing lots of clients lately opting for bolder shades for their home’s exterior. It really makes the white trim pop.”
