Dave Hydock and his company Deck Rescue have been on a 27-year journey. As president and founder, he has overseen Deck Rescue’s entry into the home maintenance market with a much-needed home service: cleaning and rehabilitating the finish on sun-dried and weather-faded backyard decks. “We’ve had customers make requests and suggestions for other services, too, and some of these requests have been the highest compliments we’ve received. They tell us they’re so satisfied with the way we do business they’d like to know if we could do something completely different, like installing gutter protection because they like the way we show up at the job on time, the quality of our work, and the fact that we don’t do high-pressure sales…no pun intended,” Dave elaborated with a smile.
