To symbolize the red-carpet treatment that Window Depot of Cleveland delivers to its clients, installers drape red tarps and red drop cloths to protect floors and furnishings at job sites, and even don red shoe-covering booties while in their homes.

“Clients know that we take care in offering VIP client services every step of the way,” says owner Tony Hoty, who has been in the home improvement industry in Cleveland for decades. “Our locally owned company is built on the balance of being a hometown operation that partners with a national industry leader with collective buying power. This unique relationship allows us to bring the best selection and lower prices to our clients, while having control over the craftsmanship behind every job. What sets us apart is selection, service and savings.”

They offer nearly every style, shape and size of window, as well as sliding glass patio doors and entry doors, and insulated engineered vinyl trim in an array of designer colors.

“Function is as important as form,” he adds. “That’s why we offer energy-efficient products like triple-pane windows that we trust will save our clients money in the long term and provide cozy comfort.”

In homeowner Veronica Moss’ home, Window Depot was able to match the beautiful built-in woodwork throughout the interior.

After the job is done, in keeping with the company’s red-carpet treatment, Tony says that backing up their work with extensive warranties exemplifies their core values.

“We offer comprehensive lifetime home warranties on our investment and premium-grade products, as long as the person owns the home, which is transferrable to the next homeowner and non-prorated,” he says.

Debunking a Common Misconception
“We often hear customers say they think they have to wait until springtime if they don’t have their window replacement or repair work done before winter hits,” says Tony. “That’s false. We do this work all winter long. We go room by room and keep the doors closed in the rooms we are working on, through all kinds of weather. The specialty sealants and caulking we use are designed to cure in lower temperatures.”

One opportunity fewer people realize is the colder months precipitate better pricing.

“With fewer people shopping windows in the winter instead of spring or summer, you’re going to find better pricing,” he says. “By the time the home shows happen in February and March, companies already have orders coming in. It really behooves a homeowner to start their shopping in the colder months.”

Carrying a wide variety of colors and styles in brands including Anderson, ProVia and Pella, the team at Window Depot treats every home to a red-carpet experience.

Selection and Style
Carrying a wide variety of colors and styles in brands including Anderson and Pella, the team at Window Depot appreciates that every home is unique.

“We also offer a locally manufactured brand called ProVia, Amish-made in Sugarcreek,” says Tony. “The craftsmanship is extraordinary and it’s affordable.”

Tony and his team are always on the lookout for product innovations. One of the high-efficiency lines from OKNA called Starmark is made from a unique composite material. “It’s in its own category, with the look of wood and the ultra-durability of vinyl,” he says. “Since it expands and contracts less than wood or vinyl, it offers higher tolerances and reduces air infiltration. It costs more than vinyl and less than wood. About one in five of our customers chooses this composite.”

Looks are important, too. Tony reports that one of the hottest styles they are seeing is matte black trim.

What Clients Have to Say
“Our approach to providing the highest level of customer service is relentless,” says Tony.

In fact, when you walk into the Window Depot sales office, you won’t see sales figures charted on the wall, but rather an ongoing compilation of Five-Star reviews online captured from all the social media platforms.

Here are a few recent ones.

“Fantastic experience from start to finish! Every person I came in contact with was very professional and service oriented. Jeff, the installer, was meticulous about his work. The windows look great and will definitely be much more energy efficient,” says Pam O.

“Window Depot did a great job replacing our back patio door, as well as fixing and capping some windows that were in much need of repair. From start to finish they were professional, quick and easy to work with!” says Meghan J.

Frank S. reports he got several quotes for his window replacement job and chose Window Depot. “I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Window Depot. From the sales team to the installers, everything was outstanding! What I liked most about working with them is their professionalism They didn’t play any pricing games and they don’t use any gimmicks to earn your business.”
