Partnerships carry with them layers of importance, most notably the sharing of investment, the bond of trust, and the commitment between participants. They aren’t just valuable…they’re sacred.

Brian Erickson, owner of Northeast Ohio’s Floorz stores, with locations in Montrose, Strongsville, and a new standout in Mayfield Heights, takes his partnership with the community very seriously.

“We aren’t just here to sell flooring,” he states. “Anyone can do that. We’re here to make people’s lives better…easier. We show our love and support for the people we do business with and the communities in which our stores exist in so many ways. Whether it’s sponsoring a local sports team or taking the extra time to make sure a flooring installation goes off without a hitch, our dedication to being a valuable partner is one of the cornerstones of our business.”

Another way Floorz partners with the community is with its annual toy drive. People can drop an unwrapped toy off at any Floorz location before December 15, 2022, and Brian will match the total number collected prior to delivering them to Akron Children’s Hospital. Anyone making a donation will enjoy either 10% off their total purchase, or three-years zero-interest financing. But you don’t have to make a purchase to contribute to this worthy cause. Simply visit any of the three Floorz locations and bring a toy to donate.

“This is our fourth year collecting toys,” he smiles. “And it’s become such a rewarding part of our holiday experience.”

Becoming the Best
Becoming among the best in the flooring industry didn’t happen overnight. For the last 12 years, Brian and his team have been diligently working to elevate the flooring purchase experience in a way that no other store can.

Among the team members are top interior designers who make it their mission to collaborate with customers and help them visualize what’s possible.

Just in time for the holidays, all of Brian Erickson’s Floorz stores are packed with beautiful vignettes featuring lines from Mohawk, Karastan and Shaw. These offerings have been paired with attractive savings and financing opportunities, so the time to buy is now.

“Each store has a design center,” Brian says. “But where we shine is our unique ability to capture our customers’ wants and needs and pair them with the flooring choices that are best for them. Our designers will meet with customers in the store or go to their homes. We can even highlight certain types of flooring so people can see exactly how their choices will look when installed.”

Premier Service
“We have a management team in place, a full-time warranty administrator, designers and installation crews all dedicated to operational excellence,” Brian says. “Every part of every project is integrated into cloud technology so any person within our organization can access the job. That way, our customers can be kept informed.”

The state-of-the-art warehouse located in Brecksville houses millions of square feet of project material and every job, down to the last nail, carpet tack or tube of caulk, is prepped before it ever enters a customer’s home. That way, there’s never an interruption on the job because of missing materials. And no fewer than 18 crews head out across Northeast Ohio each day to professionally install each project.

“People vote with their money, and we’re humbled and grateful to have risen to the top as a result,” Brian states. “Here you’ll find the best design, the best products, the best service, and the best value—and that’s never going to change.”

Statement Bathrooms
“We often have customers tell us they want to replace their old fiberglass surround and shower doors in a second-floor bath. They don’t necessarily want to remodel the bathroom, but getting rid of an old, outdated system is a must,” Brian says. “We’re happy to take on a shower replacement job.”

Floorz can also do a complete gut and remodel.

“No matter what size your bathroom update, we’re happy to help you make the transformation. Our highly skilled staff install team can completely gut your bathroom and rebuild it from the ground up,” Brian says. “There’s a lot of flexibility when you work with us.”
