In the spirit of striking while the iron is hot, don’t let this month or next month fly by without checking out the slew of deals going on at Floorz.

“Now is hands-down the best time of year to replace your flooring,” says Owner Brian Erickson, who has led the family-owned operation over the past 14 years.

With design-forward showrooms in Strongsville, Mayfield Heights and Montrose, you’ll find the biggest, newest and most exclusive lines of flooring.

National Karastan Month
“Karastan offers 56 collections of flooring, from carpet to hard surface, luxury vinyl to hard woods,” says Brian. “BelleLuxe waterproof and LuxeCraft plank flooring are two of our top sellers. They check the boxes for families who want an authentic wood look with extreme durability. Each plank is crafted with 64 layers of texture for multidimensional beauty you can see and feel. These lines definitely live up to their tagline, ‘Better than nature intended.’”

When it comes to luxurious carpet, Karastan has also earned a reputation in design innovation. Top-selling lines include Kashmere, a super soft nylon blend; Wool, a sustainable choice made from 100% New Zealand wool; and SmartStrand, which is crafted from renewable plant-based ingredients.

“In addition to quality and style, the warranties on these flooring products really cannot be beat,” he says.

A Return to Hardwood
“There is a growing segment of homeowners who will only settle for hardwood flooring,” says Brian. “I researched the industry and found Wickham Hardwood Flooring, an award-winning Canadian company that offers five species of wood in 60 colors of both solid and engineered hardwood. Both quality and speedy turnaround time have exceeded our expectations. The jobs we’ve done so far have been gorgeous.”

Another new line Floorz is introducing is Canopy by International Flooring Company. Brian travels the country attending flooring shows. When he saw Canopy, he knew he wanted to be the first and only to bring it to Northeast Ohio.

“This is really the first company to take luxury vinyl flooring to the next level,” he says. “The selections and high quality are amazing.”

Spark Your Imagination

The team at Floorz shares Brian’s passion for VIP customer service.

“I lead with the HIPS approach: honesty, integrity, passion, servitude,” he says. “All of our client interactions follow that perspective.”

Customers looking for knowledgeable advice in selecting flooring that will bring their dream space to life also appreciate the complimentary consultations. Designers suggest different combinations to transform a space that’s reflective of its owner’s unique esthetic. In the center of the showroom is a large design table where they help put together samples.

Timing is Everything
Since Floorz has its own warehouse in Brecksville and stocks most of the lines it offers, getting on the schedule to have your home ready for holiday entertaining is a reality. Brian says you can usually get on their books and have a job completed within three to four weeks. So, shop this month or next month, pull the trigger, and your nest will be looking its absolute best by Thanksgiving.

“We also have a host of in-stock specials and area rugs,” he adds. “You can pick up the products same day or we will deliver it to you.”

Floorz has three locations: 17100 Royalton Road in Strongsville (440-638-1388), 143 Rothrock Road in Montrose (330-630-3330) and 1509 Golden Gate Plaza in Mayfield Heights (216-455-7500). With a 20,000-square-foot warehouse in Brecksville, the company stores many products, which ensures cost savings and shorter lead times.
