You could have a new bathroom before the holidays, starting at just $4,500

If you like word play, you’ll love the mission statement of Bath Depot, which recently opened its new location in Westlake. It’s Selection, Service, Savings. But it’s the fourth “S”—showroom—that will really blow you away.
Life-sized shower and tub vignettes in gorgeous materials, specialty shower heads, custom niches and more…it’s like taking a stroll through a home décor magazine.
I sat down with owner Tony Hoty recently to find out about how they are different from the ever-growing number of bathroom remodeling companies.
“When it comes to selection, we offer a virtually unlimited number of products to choose from,” he says. “We back that up with five-star service. And since we belong to a national group with collective buying power, we pass the savings along to the customer.”
A Bathroom to Fit Every Budget
With four grades of renovation—Builder Grade, Investment Grade, Premium Grade and Luxury Grade—Bath Depot has you covered. Each one is solid surface, mold and mildew resistant and easy to clean. Estimated budgets run from $4,500 up to $19,500 and include everything from the shower or tub to flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting and fixtures.
“Builder grade is a good fit for someone who is flipping a house, or maybe doesn’t plan to stay in the home for long,” Tony explains. “It’s a fiberglass shower base or tub and only comes in white. Investment and Premium Grades offer high-end acrylic tubs or showers and unique, solid surface, laminate wall panels. These come in a plethora of styles that mimic tile, marble and wood. These materials have fine details like laser-etched grout lines. With the Luxury Grade, the materials include cultured marble or stone.”
But Can I Get it by Christmas?
Tony says people stopping into the showroom keep asking this question.
“With the holidays coming, house guests and parties, everyone wants their bathrooms redone,” he says. “While we can complete a tub or shower remodel in as little as one day, the turnaround time averages between 4 to 12 weeks. Certain product selections taking longer than others, which we can advise on during the design process. So, a new bath for the holidays is a definite possibility.”
A Relentless Passion for Customer Service
Tony’s backstory is one of a local boy following in his family’s footsteps. The Hoty name is well-known on the west side for entrepreneurship. Born and raised in Rocky River, Tony attended Ohio State University where he got his first job working in the home remodeling industry nearly 30 years ago. Today, Tony is the proud father of another Rocky River alum.
“I’ve been in every part of the business, from handing out fliers near jobsites to installation work as well as consulting to the industry on a national level,” he says. “Just like my family before me, and my employees, who have always felt like family, we share a passion for relentless customer service.”
Five-Star Reviews
It’s fairly unheard of for a company to receive all five-star reviews. But Bath Depot has earned a legion of fans. Here’s one:
“Our installers, Bill and Billy, were fantastic and conscientious and respectful to our property and needs. They were courteous and clean, and made sure to tidy everything up before leaving,” says Wilda P. “Paul, the project manager, provided great salesmanship and exudes high professionalism and passion on the job. He never once pressured us into making any decisions, which was greatly appreciated. Finally, our follow-up visit by Rory was delightful—a great cap to a truly wonderful experience. He dropped off a gift basket and covered all the warranty information thoroughly.”
