You need to eat truly healthy for true health
By Dr. David Gutman, Cleveland Nutrition
Take a minute to think carefully before you answer the question I’m about to ask. What is true health?
Does it mean living without taking medications? Having a lean, muscular body? Aging without pain or disability? Feeling happy and confident?
Although the answers may be many, only a few actually achieve it, because to earn true health you need to eat truly healthy.
As a society we are undernourished, overfed, and utterly confused. We believe chicken and cottage cheese are healthy, but we are still getting heavier. We think early detection is the same thing as prevention, yet we have among the highest cancer rates in the world. We think treating our ills with pills undoes the internal damage, but our diseases continue to progress as our dosages keep going up.
In fact, most chronic diseases, like diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory conditions and even many cancers, are not the natural consequence of aging. Nor are they genetic diseases. They are primarily dietary diseases.
And that’s great news, because it means you actually have control. But just cutting calories won’t cut it. To achieve true health, you have to improve the quality of your diet, not reduce the quantity.
At Cleveland Nutrition, I help people overcome their chronic diseases naturally by creating a food prescription for each patient. By following your personal food prescription, we help you eliminate diseases, lose weight, get off your medications, improve pain, reduce inflammation, prevent cancer, and so much more. That’s the power of food.
We also give you the support and accountability you need to succeed. By following the medical program I’ve created, you will see a dramatic change in the quality of your life—and your health.
When you’re ready to change and take your health back, I can help. You can finally live better, and longer, without worrying about how you feel. You’ll be able to take on the day with confidence and strength. And you’ll finally get to a place where you feel good, all the time. That’s true health.
We participate with many insurance plans. I look forward to hearing from you.
